The Crompton Care Program is an initiative for employees and companies to give back to society by implementing outcome driven projects by donating their time, passion, and skills. Series of engagement activities are initiated to amplify the involvement of the Crompton employees vertically and horizontally on the focus areas of Water Conservation, Skill & Entrepreneurships Development and Community Care. Ujjwal Deep Change Maker Grant Program is an endeavour to provide an opportunity to employees for implementing social impact projects for making a positive impact and empowering the communities. Through this program, Crompton’s employees will get a chance to propose social project for the cause area which are close to their hearts and create change in the communities by implementing social projects.
The overall program design is to invite proposals through an open ‘Call for Proposals’ and to provide equal opportunity to the employees to ‘think and implement’ beyond the box. Through a three-tier selection process, the ten change makers will be selected and mentored. The Centre for Youth (C4Y) as an Implementing Partner, will steer the overall grant process. CSR Champions of Crompton will mentor the change makers. The Post implementation, a reflection workshop will be organised for the change makers to share their experiences and success stories of change. The success stories of change will be documented.
