Centre for Youth (C4Y) is proud to receive the Golden Partner Award at the Crompton Annual CSR Partners' Meet 2026.

Centre for Youth (C4Y) is proud to announce the successful establishment of 150+ women entrepreneurs across Delhi NCR under its livelihood and entrepreneurship initiative.

The programme has supported women from diverse trades including tailoring, beauty and wellness, handicrafts, food services and small retail enterprises. Through enterprise development training, mentoring, branding support, market linkages and confidence-building sessions, C4Y has enabled women to strengthen their livelihoods and move towards financial independence.

This milestone reflects C4Y's commitment to empowering women, promoting self-employment and building sustainable community-led entrepreneurship models.

Centre for Youth (C4Y), with the support of Crompton CSR Foundation, successfully RPL-certified 1,000 service technicians under Project SAMRUDHI across India.

The initiative focused on recognising existing skills, strengthening technical knowledge, enhancing safety practices and improving customer service standards among field technicians. Through structured training, practical demonstrations, soft-skills sessions and government-recognised assessment and certification, the programme helped technicians gain formal recognition for their experience and capabilities.

This milestone reflects C4Y's commitment to workforce formalisation, employability enhancement and inclusive skill development for India's service technician community.

Centre for Youth (C4Y) observed Anti-Ragging Day and Week across India to promote safe, inclusive and respectful educational spaces.

The campaign focused on raising awareness among students, institutions and communities about the harmful impact of ragging and the importance of prevention, reporting and collective responsibility. Through awareness sessions, student engagement activities, pledge campaigns and outreach initiatives, C4Y encouraged young people to stand against ragging and support a culture of dignity, empathy and mutual respect.

This initiative reinforces C4Y's commitment to youth safety, student well-being and violence-free campuses.

Centre for Youth (C4Y) is pleased to announce its partnership with Accion to advance inclusive development and community-focused initiatives.

This collaboration brings together C4Y's grassroots implementation experience and Accion's commitment to empowering underserved communities through impactful and sustainable programmes. The partnership will focus on strengthening outreach, building capacities, supporting vulnerable groups and creating meaningful opportunities for social and economic inclusion.

Through this association, C4Y and Accion aim to work together towards scalable, people-centred solutions that promote dignity, resilience and long-term community transformation.

Centre for Youth (C4Y), in partnership with PVR NEST and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), proudly announces the launch of the Pink Toilet Programme — a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing dignity, safety, accessibility, and hygiene for women and girls in public sanitation spaces.

The programme will support and strengthen 10 Pink Toilets across Delhi, creating female-friendly, inclusive, and sustainable sanitation facilities. Key interventions include the development of WASH Champions, improved operations and maintenance systems, capacity building, and the establishment of universal standards for accessible toilet design.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to promoting gender-responsive sanitation and fostering healthier, safer communities.

The Inaugural Launch of the C4Y-IWP Water Champions Youth Fellowship Programme 2019 was jointly organised by Centre for Youth (C4Y), India Water Partnership (IWP) and GGS Indraprastha University on 5 April 2019 in New Delhi, to commemorate World Water Day 2019 under the theme "Leaving No One Behind."

The programme brought together students, faculty, water experts and non-profits to promote youth leadership in water conservation and sustainable water management. It included the release of the fellowship poster and brochure, expert reflections on water challenges in Delhi-NCR, an open forum and a film screening on water conservation — marking the beginning of a youth-led initiative for water sustainability.

The ECO GRANTS Launch Ceremony was organised on 17 July 2018 at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place, New Delhi, to introduce an innovative platform for mentoring, networking and incubating young environmental leaders and sustainability initiatives.

The event brought together distinguished dignitaries, development practitioners, environmentalists, social activists and youth leaders committed to promoting environmental action. The programme featured insightful discussions on conservation, sustainability and citizen engagement through a multi-sectoral panel comprising renowned experts from diverse fields.

The launch was followed by a special screening of the acclaimed documentary Blue Planet II, inspiring participants to strengthen their commitment towards environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
