Today is a world which value and reward skills. A person equipped with the right skills can find gainful employment in all circumstances and will never have to leave his life to the vagaries of fate. With the view to training the youth of this country in employability-oriented skills, the Government of India is set to launch a “Skill India” scheme, a multi-skill development programme on mission model for job creation end entrepreneurship for all socio economic classes. The new programme aims at providing training and skill development to 500 million youth of our country by 2020, covering each and every village.
Joining its initiative with the Government’s programme, C4Y SkillD will develop programmes and facilities for youth to impart and acquire traditional or contemporary skills according to the dynamic needs of industry and the economy to increase gainful employability and self-employment, preferably in their own regions.
One of the most dynamic ways to progress is to train in and enhance the indigenous skills of the place you live in as it provides the conducive financial opportunities to create a market for your skills. C4Y’s SkillD programme is based on this very premise.
